Show Sanpete Valley Creamery in Good Condition. A statement of the sanitary conditions con-ditions of practially every creamery in the state has been compiled by J. C. Lambert, deputy dairy and food commissioner. The list embrace forty-two creameries, and is based on the percentage system, 100 per cent being perfect. The figures on each creamery are based on exterior and interior appearance, construction and condition of floors, drainage, refrigeration, re-frigeration, efficiency of machinery, state of repairs and sanitary construction con-struction of machinery and purity of water used. Creameries considered in a passable pass-able condition must have a percentage percent-age of 50. Only one has been adjudged ad-judged below that mark, C. R. Gall's Gal-l's at meadow. Tne Sanpete Valley Creamery of Mt. Pleasant registered 9G, there being only one in the state surpassing surpass-ing it, the plant of Blackman& Griffin Grif-fin of Odgen which reached 98. The Jensen Creamery skimming station of this city registered 69, in Spring City it reached 95. and at Fairview 82. The Fairview Creamery at Fair-view Fair-view registered 77. The Madow View Creamery of Moroni registered 59 and the Independent Creamery 55. A representative of the Pyramid was shown through the Sanpete Valley Val-ley Creamery by Mr. P. J, Tvilling Manager of the plant, one day last week. The plant whicn is fitted out and furnished with new machinery is modern throughout. The milk which comes in is accurately weighed samples taken, run through the sep-erator sep-erator and churned into butter without being touched. The skim milk is immediately returned to the milk producer and nothing remains in the plant to cause any odor or refuse. re-fuse.
