Show T Spring City 1 - J Born, May 26, to the wife of Wm. Henry Harrison, a girl. Born, June 7, to the wife of Har-rieon Har-rieon Mote, a son. Mrs. Mary Ann Allred and Lola Backman are visiting with relatives and friends in Ogden, Salt Lake and Provo. Milton Allred came out from Salt Lake for a few days returning Tuesday. Tues-day. The following people went to Salt Lake to attend Mutual conference: Mrs. Mary E. Acord, Jennie Watson, B. E. Griffiths and wife, J. W. Blain, Manett Allred, Reid Allred and Glen 0. Allred went to Salt Lake to attend at-tend Summer School. Mayor John S. Blain has gone to Salt kake and Cache Valley on a business bus-iness trip. J. Carl Allred and wife came out from Provo in their auto last week, remaining here for a few days. Osmon Justesen of American Fork and Coleman Allred and wife of Provo came out to attend the missionary miss-ionary party given Matthias Allred last evening. Mrs. Lydia Puzey has been in Salt Lake for a week-, ' Mrs. Jacob Johnson and daughters Mrs. Moses Nielsen and Jeniel Johr-son Johr-son are staying in Salt Lake for a few weeks. Daniel Lamont Jensen left for a mission to Scandinavia last Monday,. Mrs. Daniel Jensen and Wm. J. Baxter Bax-ter accompanied him as far as Salt Lake City. The Ward Sunday School officers gave a missionary farewell party in the tabernacle last Sunday evening. Second Assistant Supt. Wm. E. Osborne Os-borne had charge of the program. Opening song, "Count Yo-jr Blessings;" Bless-ings;" Invocation, Vocal solo, J. Carl Allred; Recitation, Leah Justesen; Remarks, Lindon Larsen; Piano selection, se-lection, Dahl sisters; Remarks, Matthias Mat-thias Allred; Vocal solo, Miss Libbie Acord; Remarks, Osmon Justesen; Collections were then taken up to assist the missionary on his journey. Closing song, "God Be With You Till We Meet Again." The Ward Primary conference was held in the tabernacle last Sunday afternoon, Stake officers Mrs. Soren-, sen and Mrs. Sanderson of Fairview were in attendance. The Scandinavian choir with others made a trip to Mount Pleasant last Sunday morning. Miss Dora Johnson entertained for Miss Ina Brough Thursday evening even-ing giving her a stocking and kerchief ker-chief shower. Covers were laid for twenty -one and the decorations were in green and white. The wedding of Miss Ina Brough and Abe Strate will take place some time in the very near future when they will go to Clear Creek to live. |
