Show Brookside School news this veek by Danny Lamb, Michael Davis and Craig Miller. Mrs. Anderson's First grade has a mother hen setting some eggs. They also have some eggs in an incubator. Because all the eggs should hatch this week, the children are excitedly excited-ly waiting. The eggs under the mother hen should hatch on Wednesday and those under the incubator on Thursday The Fourth graders under Miss Davis have been studying conservation and they have some interesting material to present at the school Science Fair next Friday. The Fifth graders under Mr. Poulsen are also getting ready for the Science Fair. They are studying about petroleum. Mr. Allred's Sixth grade has been studying electricity and atoms. They too are getting ready for our Science Fair. They are going to enter in the fair all the subjects that they have studied in science: electricity and atoms, sound, weather and climate, trees and plants-, and sea life. Many 6th grade students are going to have birthdays this week. Happy Birthday to Elaine Fullmer, Maurine An-dreason, An-dreason, Richard Orr, Kathleen Kath-leen Zobell and Dennis Patten. |
