Show HIGHLAND VOTES FOR DEER CREEK Highland Conservation district went 100 per cent for the Deer Creek project, although only a small portion of voters exercised their right, in voting to subscription subscrip-tion Monday. The affirmative vote assured acceptance of 5,010 more acre feet in the project; indicated district dis-trict voter's agreement to accept principal indebtedness of $380,-760 $380,-760 and contingent indebtedness of $133,266 for the Deer Creek plan. Director O. C. Day announces the district board will soon canvas can-vas return, and pass a resolution authorizing signing the subscription subscrip-tion forms. The vote by district was: One, yes, 949 acre feet; no, none; two, yes, 332 acre feet; no, none; three, yes, 165 acre feet; no, none. Qualified voters numbered num-bered 230. |
