Show Attowah Mrs. Ethel Beebe DUP met At Carroll Home The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pi-oneers held their meeting for December at the home of Mrs. Mary Carroll on Wednesday. The lesson, "Pioneer Christmas Stories," was given by Mrs. Lola Jones. Gifts were exchanged and refreshments re-freshments enjoyed by the following fol-lowing members: Mrs. Margaret Maxfield, Mrs. Marion Reese, Mrs. Lola Jones, Mrs. Ilez Ames, Mrs. Francis Allred, Mrs. Mary Riley, Mrs. LaRue Fisher, Mrs. Twila Ralphs, Mrs. Louise Case and Mrs. Mary Carroll. - Mrs. W. A. Maxfield was able to return home Friday from the Roosevelt Hospital where she. had been under treatment for a gall-bladder upset for several days. Rex Fowler, a student at U. of U, Salt Lake City, came home Saturday to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler. Marva Atwood, of Bluebell, stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Shiner's children while they attended a family get-together in Provo honoring the 90th birthday birth-day anniversary of their grandfather, grand-father, C. N. Shiner. J Dru Allred returned from Salt Lake Monday, where he had undergone un-dergone an operation on his nose. Among those who attended the Stake Mutual Leadership meeting at Mt. Home Saturday night were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb, Mrs. Clenty Ames, S h e r r a 1 Ames, Mrs. Marian Reese, Charley Char-ley Allred and Perry Maxfield. Bishop and Mrs. J. Arthur Timothy and family spent the week end in Salt Lake City on business. Several men from here attended at-tended the Elder's Quorum meet- J ing at Mt. Emmons Sunday af-, ternoon. Jesse A. Fowler was taken to Salt Lake City Tuesday by his son, Harold, to receive medical med-ical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bowden and daughter, of Gusher, visited recently at the homes of Mrs. Mary Bowden, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Case. .Mr. and Mrs. Charley Timothy Timo-thy and family, of Bonanza, spent the week end here with relatives. Mrs. Mons Johansen, of Bo-neta, Bo-neta, visited Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Maxfield Max-field and family have moved into the Leonakis house for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred made a trip to Salt Lake City Monday, returning home Thursday. Thurs-day.
