Show Family Who Lost Home In Fire Honored The Myton Ward Chapel was crowded Friday evening when friends gathered for a miscellaneous miscel-laneous shower complimentary to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Abegglen. These people lost their home and its entire contents last week when fire destroyed their house on their ranch in Pleasant Valley Val-ley . while they were in Salt Lake City. Many nice and useful use-ful gifts were presented to Mr. and Mrs. Abegglen. Games furnished entertainment entertain-ment and refreshments were served. , N. L. Peterson, who recently underwent an operation in a Salt Lake City hospital, was returned re-turned home last week and will receive treatment here. Jim Schuckers, who is attending attend-ing school at Wasatch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, arrived home Friday Fri-day to spend the Christmas holidays hol-idays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Schuckers. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell L. Pur-cell Pur-cell and daughter, Valerie, arrived ar-rived Saturday evening from Logan Lo-gan to spend the Christmas holidays hol-idays with Mrs. Purcell's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, visited Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Howard Funk, a student at Wasatch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, is home for the holidays, arriving arriv-ing Friday ttf visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Funk. |
