Show Ward Conference Held Sunday; Officers Called Ward conference was held on Sunday in Sacrament meeting with Bishop Gardner Goodrich and his counselors, James I. i Bird and John Thorsen, and One Cook, ward clerk, sustained at the ward bishopric. Each gave a short talk. The stake presidency. William Brotherson, Leon Burton, Bernard Bern-ard Winkler, and a member of the High Council, Burton Tew, LeGrande Meaham, of the Sunday Sun-day School, and Leslie B. Goodrich, Good-rich, representing the High Priests, each spoke of thier work and how they enjoyed it. The ward Sunday School was reorganized. J. W. Jackson is the new Supt. with Walter Remington Rem-ington and Anthon Rust as counselors, coun-selors, and Twila Larsen and Cherril Remington as secretaries secretar-ies The outgoing Superintenden-cy Superintenden-cy was Earl Murray, James Cook and Orie Cook, counselors. All the ward presidents of the organizations bore their testimonies, testi-monies, as follows: Lucille Winkler, Wink-ler, Pres. of Relief Society; Mr. Jackson, Supt. of Sunday School. Garda Seeley, Pres. of Primary.; Ona Rust and James W. Powell, Presidents of the M.I.A., and Wm. O. Larsen, of the Genealogy. Genealo-gy. Mr. and Mrs. Deloss Bird, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end here with relatives. |
