Show West Bountiful By ALICE MITCHELL The autumn days linger on and make life pleasant. There are cool nights and warm days, so the tomatoes mature and the last crop of corn can come to full growth. Even though the vegetables and fruits are expensive, ex-pensive, the people in West Bountiful have been blessed with a good harvest of peaches and pears. The plums have been abundant also. Even "Tip" ONiel, speaker of the house, who visited in West Bountiful last Thursday, was impressed with West Bountiful, its churches, schools, homes and especially the people. During the week the parents of the over 500 students of the West Bountiful Elementary School attended the annual Back-To-School Night. The visited classes and teachers and Principal Hallows explained ex-plained the school program. Deanne and LaVel Hansen went bear hunting in Couer d' Alene, Idaho recently. They are modernly equipped with a washing machine, etc. We hope that all goes well with Sandra Fehse. She was hospitalized for tests recently.
