Show LEGION AND LADIES HAVE A BANQUET The men of Milford Post, American Legion, together with members of the Auxiliary and other lady-friends, enjoyed en-joyed a Bumptiously appointed banquet, ban-quet, served at the Milford Hotel on the evening of the 30th. The following was the menu: Fruit Cocktail Ripe Olives Mixed pickles -Baked Virginia Ham Sage dressing dress-ing Candied Sweet Potatoes Au Gratin Potatoes Fresh Peas Vegetable Salad Strawberry Shortcake Coffee. A program of talks was given, with Sam Cline presiding in the toast-master's toast-master's chair. The Milford Orchestra furnished music and Dan Ferguson sang. About sixty plates were set for the banquet. The affair ended at an early hour, with most of those present pres-ent going out to Hanging Rock to attend the dance sponsored by the V. of F. W. |
