Broom-! Broom-! head, of Provo, were here this week looking over a location for a busi-1 busi-1 ness enterprise. J. Twaddell of Amarillo, Texas, was in Milford Monday. L. M. Carroll of Pomona, California, Califor-nia, was doing business here Tuesday. Tues-day. Lois Taylor of St. George, was in a Milford visitor Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Osborne Christopher-son Christopher-son and family, of Garrison, are visiting visit-ing in Milford for a few days. W. H. Kearns and C. R. Kearns of Las Vegas, are with us. Philip Baker and wife accompanied by his mother and Mrs. Bleander of Baker, brought his father, P. M. Baker, widely known as "Doc," to Milford for medical treatment. They were unable to have the operation here, so they left at once for Salt Lake City, where he will receive treatment at the L. D. S. hospital. Mirs. Ross Smith had as her guests Wednesday and Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. EUsha Kirk and family, who are on their way to Los Angeles where Mr. Kirk will teach. Mrs. P. J. Adams, National Regional Region-al director of Service Star, was a visitor at the Service Star Legion meeting Friday night. She urged the members to get behind any memorial mem-orial work started. Mrs. Ross Smith and Mirs. John Killam gave an interesting inter-esting report of the State convention. Judge Thomas H. Bi.'rton, was ir. our city this past week. D. L. Melville of Fillmore, took a run to Milford on Saturday. E. L. Drury made his week-end trip to Milford this past week. Jack Schow is once more on his regular run to Milford. Mrs. Wm. H. Gordon took a trip over from Cedar on Friday. |
