Show CHARLES SINGLETON ' Charles Singleton was born fifty- J three years ago in Pennsylvania, and came to Beaver county nearly forty years ago, being one of the county's ; pioneers. All his life was spent in ; Beaver county, spending his early ; years in Greenville, and moving to ' Milford sixteen years ago. He was employed at the local railway shops, in the capacity of boilermaker. j He was united in marriage to Mary Richards, also a member of one of I the county's early families. Besides his widow, there are five children ; who will mourn his passing and will miss him. A few clays ago, Mr. Singleton became be-came seriously ill with pneumonia, from which he neve rrecovered. He died Sunday, May 20th, in a hospital in Salt Lake City. Funeral services were conducted the following Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon in Milford, in charge of Harry Ward. Speakers -"were Professor Hickman and J. F. Tolton. Burial services were conducted conduct-ed at the Greenville cemetery. A large corterie of friends followed the body to its last resting place. The condolence of the community is extended ex-tended the family. |
