This is the first game that Delta has won in the past two years but don't think that this is record that Delta is always going to have, for she is fixing to go up against any of them. The score was 12 to 11 in 'favor of Delta. OAK CITY Reporter W. R. Walker has been absent for the past three weeks. This accounts for no report from Oak City for some time. Last Friday evening a farewell party was given Ray Finlinson, who departed for a mission to the northwestern states the following fol-lowing Sunday. During the party a program was rendered and refreshments re-freshments were served. A parse of about one hundred and forty dollars was raised to help him on his way. Saturday a crowd of young people accompanied Mr. Finlinson to Leamington, where a dance was given in his honor. After the dance the crowd adjourned ad-journed to the Nielson Hotel, where wh-ere all partook of a delicious chicken chic-ken dinner. DESERET Wm.
