Show Six Deseret Stake Enrolled In LDS Institute At AC A recent survey revealed that six members of Deseret stake are enrolled in one or more courses at the LDS Institute of Religion at the Utah State Agricultural eol-ege. eol-ege. Over 600 USAC students parr ticipate in both LDS and non-sectarian classes and the largest num ber of these students are active members oi Lambda Delta Sigma, religious social fraternity. Deseret stake students are: jars jvi. Bisnop, senior in education, educa-tion, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Heb-er Heb-er G. Bishop. Rayda Bishop, also a senior, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray S. Bishop, is studying home economic education. Carol Crafts, a sophomore in home economics, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crafts, of Hinckley. Phyllis L. Wtnsor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Winsor, is a senior in home economics education. educa-tion. The LDS program at Utah State is growing. Students living in cam pus dormitories attend Sunday school and MIA meeting at the Institute, : and married students living in college hill trailers, quon-set quon-set huts, prefabricated houses and city project houses were recently organized into the College Hill branch. Approximately 100 men .belong to the Utah State chapter of Delta Phi, returned man missionary fraternity, frat-ernity, and 25 girls are members of Beta Pi, returned lady missionary mission-ary sorority. Director of the Logan LDS Institute In-stitute of Religion is Dr. W. W. Richards. Prof. Wendell Rich and Dr. Eugene Campbell assist him. |
