ARPBILLA SCOW Mr and Mrs. Matt Cropper, Mr. and Mrs. Marlow Cropper spent the weekend at Tremonton. Daughter of Utah Pioneers, Fanny Fan-ny Cropper Camp, held their monthly mon-thly meeting Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. George Fisher. Refreshments were served. Mrs. E. J. Eliason is visiting in Spanish Fork with her daughter, Mrs. Glen Larsen. Linda Cropper is visiting at Meadow with her grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Van Wamick land children left Thursday for Denver where they will visit with their father, Mansel Warnick, who is in the hospital there. Anna Lou Dewsnup 'from Provo was a visitor at Deseret Saturday and Sunday with her father, Mr. Harmon Dewsnup. Mrs. J. Layton Dewsnup underwent under-went surgery at the LDS hospital on Tuesday. She is reported as doing nicely. Elwood Williams from San Francisco Fran-cisco visited Friday with his aunt, Mrs. Henry Dewsnup. Mr. O. L. Dutson and son, June L., left Wednesday for Colton, Cal., to take care of bees. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Webb and children drove to Provo Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. B. Mace and children from Fillmore visited on Thursday and Friday with Mrs. Mace's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hen-ry Dewsnup. Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Damron and children from San Francisco spent their vacation at Deseret visiting with Cleo's father, Mr. A. L. Dam- ran. Joan and Richard Davis, son and daughter o'i Mr. and Mrs. Verdon Davis, have returned (home for the summer after having attened school at the BAC. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Warner were visitors at Salt Lake City Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Moffitt from Salt Lake City visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. M Webb Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Martell Mace and son and daughter from Las Vegas spent the weekend with Martell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Mace. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Bishop and children from Salt Lake City were visitors over .the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Allred. Dale Carling spent Sunday and Monday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kelsey and sons from Roosevelt and Mrs. Ra-ola Ra-ola Holmes and sons from Spring-ville Spring-ville visited Friday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Cuman Cropper. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Terry and children from Salt Lake City spent several days this week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Verle Black. Some of the visitors who were in Deseret for Memorial Day were Mr. and Mrs. Bingie and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jackson from Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Larsen from Magna, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Allred from Provo; Mrs. LeVern Johnson and daughter, Helen from Ely, Nev.; Mr. Jim Bennett 'from Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. James Dearden from Garrison; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Moody and family of Salt Lake City;. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Conk and ohildren from Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Olson and daughter from Provo; Mr. and Mrs. George Cropper Crop-per from Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Jess Western and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Allred from Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Stratton and children and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Bennett from Tooele; Mr. and Mrs. B. We certainly want to thank the American Legion Post 89 for the fine program at the Deseret cemetery ceme-tery on Memorial Day. Vernal Johnson spent the weekend week-end visiting with his mother, Mrs. Maud Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Frank DeGrood and children from Ogden spent several days visiting with friends and relatives. Mrs. DeGrood is the former Elaine Black. Mr. and Mrs. Wade from Salt Lake City are visiting at the home of Mrs. Wade's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Peterson.
