Show South Tract HARRIET TAYLOR Richard Baker went to Idaho to get his family. Th&y have been visiting Fern's folks,, Mr and Mrs. Nelson. Miss Carol Hauman spent the weekend with her parents before returning to Salt Lake City to her new job and studies at Henager Business college. The Haumans and the Hersleffs spent ia pleasant afternoon Memorial Mem-orial Day at Maple Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Baker visited his brother, Lt. Miles D. Baker, in . Albuquerque, N. M.. They flew down in their plane. Fred and son, Dean, flew to Ingle-wood, Ingle-wood, Calif., to visit a few days with Mrs. Fred Baker, Sr., and Mrs. Katherine Calderwood, and family. Fred returned Monday. Dean is extending his visit! Carl Baker also has been vacationing this week with the Future Farmer tour through California. Ted Brush, son of Mr land Mrs. E. A. Brush, drove up from Hay-ward, Hay-ward, Cali'f., to visit and to take his daughter, Peggy, home. She has been attending the BYU. His daughter, Barbara, and son,. Lyle, also accompanied him. The Brushes, Mrs. LaVar Owens and children and the Haumans spent a few hours at Topaz Mt. Fred Hauman says "all that sparkles spar-kles is not all topaz outh there," after his first experience hunting topaz stones. He walked quite a distance to one particular bright sparkle, probably passing up some nice stones, only to find a fruit jar. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Carter visited visit-ed their sister, Mrs. William Beach Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Pace went to the races at Springville. |
