Show Plan Celebration for Completion OMJS Highway 6 Nothing definite was settled Sun day at the breakfast meet of Ely and local representatives, but a number of sound ideas were discussed dis-cussed as to where and when to stage a big celebration to mark the completion of US Highway 6, expected early in August this year. That there should be a mammoth mam-moth celebration was agreed upon up-on unanimously, and ways and means will be decided upon soon to mark the completion of the transcontinental route that will bring hundreds more travellers through west Millard and Ely. The Ely delegation was John Chachas, chairman of White Pine Chamber of Commerce and Mines, Darwin Lambert, executive secretary, secre-tary, and Irwin Fehr, photographer They had left Ely at 4 a. m. to travel to Delta over U.S. 6, and Mr. Fehr took moving pictures along al-ong the route, of scenery, and progress pro-gress of the road work, where Clyde Construction Co. ds gravelling gravell-ing and oiling the highway. From Delta they went on to Price and then Denver, Colo., taking tak-ing pictures and meeting with groups interested in US 6 completion. com-pletion. Their purpose Is to get publicity for the advantages of travelling over US 6 and they plan to put out pamphlets and moving pictures on the subject. Present at the breakfast meet at Gem Cafe were representa -tives from Kiwanis, Lions' Delta JayCees, and county and City officials. Golden H. Black, county commissioner com-missioner and national committeeman committee-man for US 6, was in charge of the meeting and informal discussion. discus-sion. Others present were Mayor R. P.
