Show Morgan Lions Get A Charter Dr. P. L. Holman, Governor Lions District 28, Dr. A. L. Peterson and Joseph Matson, all of the local Lions 'lub, attended the Charter Night of the Morgan Lions Club in the Morgan City high school gymnasium, Saturday Satur-day night. The program follows with first vice president E. E. Anderson in charge: Singing, "America;" invocation, H. C. Crouch; address of welcome, Dr. C. E. Dorland; instrumental trio, Farming-ton Farming-ton Lions club; selection, high school chorus; short address, C. W. Carnes, president Ogden Lions club; vocal solo, so-lo, Ogden club; club introductions and two minute responses; solo, Mrs. A. Porter; presentation of charter, District Dis-trict Governor, Dr. P. L. Holman of Mount Pleasant; acceptance of charter, char-ter, president of Morgan club, J. R Tippetts. The officers of the Morgan club are: president, J. R. Tippetts; first vice p esident, E. E. Anderson; second vice president, Dr. C. E. Dorland; secretary-treasurer, T. L. Parkinson; lion tamer, Gilbert Francis; tail twister, G. S. Heiner; directors. Joseph Williams Wil-liams Sr., Harold W.
