Show k 1 ' a j SPRING CITY j 5 i Ft Special Correspondence S S Funeral services were held Saturday 9 October 26th for Marthel, 10 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Liv- ingston of Spring Canyon. 2 Reed H. Allred presided. Prayers a were offered by George Allred and g John H. Colman. The speakers were g Joseph Schofield, Marinus Mortensen, 3 Gilbert Brough and Reed H. Allred. The little girl died of leakage of the q heart. Besides her parents and sis-a sis-a ters pnd brothers she is survived by B her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed- ward F. Allred of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Brough of B Tremonton and Mrs. Glen Allred of Price came here to attend the funeral of Marthel Livingston. E Mr. and Mrs. Gregson Schofield are J visiting relatives in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan J. Johnson of T-r."T Beach, California., are visiting '"latives and friends here for a few g weeks. I Mrs. Siraon T. Beck is ill at her horn". J Mrs. Jesse Blain returned Saturday I from Provo. where she went for an 3 o-ierRticn at the Alrd hospital. Mrs. J Blain is doing well. J Mr. and Mrs. Henry Strate have re-' re-' turned after a visit with their sons, j Abe and family at Columbia and Fred J a1; Provo. ! Pat Barney and family and Aven , Barney of Delta left this week after a I short visit here with relatives and j friends. Monday evening a farewell program ! and dance were given in honor of Blain Larsen who will leave for a mis-I mis-I sion to Denmark on the first of Novem I ber. I Tuesday was the Relief Society vls-I vls-I iting day. Six sisters were visited. A program of songs and short talks were given and refreshments served. Mr. and Mrs. John T. Blain, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Larsen, Blain Larsen and Mrs. Eral Jensen were Mantl Temple visitors Wednesday. I Vione Billington fell from a rod at school this week and sustained some bad bruises on the head. The ward Primary gave their annual 'Halloween party Thursday evening at the Victory Theatre. |
