Show "Death Avenue" To Go An idea of the immensity of the problems presented by modern traffic in large cities is suggested by the announcement an-nouncement that $175,000,000 will be spent in re-locating tracks and eliminating elim-inating dangei'jus crossings in New York City by the New York Central in cooperation with city and state authorities. This means the end of a section known as "Death Avenue," on account of its many fatalities and injuries due to? rade crossings. The enormous sum involved in this imorovement is to be spent over a period per-iod of about six years, according to present estimates, and represents a sum nearly one-hair as great as the construction cost of the Panama Canal.
