Show Neighborhood News Theodore and Royal Madsen, sons of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Madsen of this city purchased the Corner Confectionery, Confection-ery, formerly owned by J. Vlrl Martin. The Madsen brothers took over the management October 17. Mr. and Mrs. Martin have moved to California. Mr. Cyrus Seely of Stirling, Canada, csme to Mt. Pleasant to-day and will be visiting relatives and friends here for some time. R. W. Bullock and son Leonard Bullock Bul-lock of Cedar City were in town today to-day purchasing purebred sheep of F. J. Neilson. Mr. and Mrs. Nels Johansen entertained enter-tained the H. M. C. club members and their husbands at a Halloween party Friday evening. Supper was served. The evening was spent in music, dancing danc-ing and games. The Womens Progressive club was entertained Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. A. H. Poulsen. A short program was given followed by song practice and a business meeting where plans were made for the annual Halloween Hal-loween party.
