Show Future Farmers of America N. s. H. s. Arricaltare Project Story I bought four pigs at two dollars and a half each at the beginning of my project, which was on the fifteenth fif-teenth of November. I fed them chopped wheat and chopped oats with skim milk. Since these pigs were all boars I had them ell doctored when they were six week Old. This is the best way to do if ore is going to market them. The hogs all grew fairly wen, but one seemed to grow faster than the others. I didnt have any trouble with disease, and I never saw any of the pigs sick at any time. The hogs were six months old when I sold the first two, the largest ones; of the four. I kept the other two for twow eeks longer and then received j nine cents a pound on foot for them making a little more than I received for the first two sold. Mar Dye, Spring City, Dtah. Remarks: This story is a continuation continua-tion of the series begun last week. The story also shows how little profit prof-it can be made on hogs when high priced feeds are used. The profit in this case was a negative amount. Jay Winkelman received a check for one hundred dollars the other day which was accompanied by the follow-ini; follow-ini; letter: Dear Mr. Winkelman: We congratulate you on having been elected Utah president of the Future Farmers of America as a result of your record in agriculture.
