Show Oil Crews Coring, Drill Stem Tests During- the past week drillers at the Carter Oil Company's Bluebell Unit No. 1 well (Monarch), (Mon-arch), located center SW NE, SEC 6-1S-2W, have cored at 8.061-73 feet, receiving 6 feet of sand and shale; cpred between be-tween 8,096-8,106 feet, receiving 10 feet sand, fine tite, and shale. A drill stem test at 8,-076-8,106 feet, open two hours, produced 4,150 feet of gas-cut drilling mud. The well was at 8,142 feet as of Monday. The crew at the Carter Ute Tribal No. 2 well, located center cen-ter NW SE, Sec 21-1S-1E cored at 8,709-8,757 feet, receiving 43 feet of shale. A four hour drill stem test between 8,737-57 feet produced 300 feet of oil and gas cut mud. A core at 8,759-62 feet showed three feet of shale; core at 8,762-8,810 feet, produced 48 feet shale. A drill stem test at 8,763-8,810, open four hours, showed 480 feet of drilling mud; and a core at 8,846-8,882 feet, received 34 feet of shale. The crew was preparing Monday to conduct another drill stem test. |
