Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Mrs. Dorothy Hassalham, of Texas a farmer resident ot England, is visiting with Mrs. Mary Collins, of Roosevelt, and Mrs Ernest Betts, of Ballard. Mrs Hassalham is the first relative rel-ative of Mrs. Collins to come to the United States. W. B. Antonio arrived last week from San Diego, Calif., to get his wife and family, who have been visiting at the Angus An-gus Anderson home. Paul and Grant, sons of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Clark, spent a short vacation recently with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. Carol and Shanna Bellon, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Xav-ier Xav-ier Bellon, left Saturday to visit vis-it in San Francisco with their sister, M: s. Louise Mehner. F. O. Lundberg, of Tooele, spent a few days recently with relatives at Independence. Mrs. Venita Heed, recently hospitalized with pneumonia, is now recuperating at home. Mr. and Mrs. James Butcher are the parents of a boy born July 2 at the Roosevelt hospital. hos-pital. Thirty-one members of the Roosevelt Baptist church enjoyed en-joyed a pot-luck dinner July 4 on the lawn at the E. C. Coston home. Wm. Taylor and son, of Park City, are guests at the home of Mr. Taylor's daughter, Mrs, Tex Ross. John K. Lemon, of Peoa, is visiting his daughter, Mrs. Er-cil Er-cil Johnson. Mrs. Minnie Angus was released re-leased Sunday as Sunday School chorister. Ned Gines was sustained sus-tained to replace her. Eric Stolla, of Clearfield, spent last weekend with his mother, Mrs. Erna Stolla. Marilyn Brighton recently accompanied her sister, Eula, of Salt Lake, to Oakland, Calif. They will make an extended visit with their sister, Mrs. Albert Al-bert (Ruth) Sarri, and her family. fam-ily. Mrs. Jeffrey Gerrick and family, of Chatswork, Calif., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Spencer Spen-cer Squire, and family. Mr. and Mrs, F. G. Showell and family, of Salt Lake City, spent July 4 with Mrs. Sho-well's Sho-well's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Childs and sons, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend here. Mr. Childs moved Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Seeley's furniture to Salt Lake, where the Seeleys have bought a home. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Eaton, of Watsonville, Calif., and Sgt. and Mrs. Mike Madson and daughter, of Ft. Riley, Kan., visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson. A group of 25 ladies met Friday evening at the home of Mrs. S. A. Brighton for a party par-ty honoring Mrs. A. W. Seeley, who is moving to Salt Lake. Hostesses were Mrs. Brighton, Mrs. Julia Kettle, Mrs. Minnie Angus, and Ardis Kettle. Mrs. Seeley was presented with a gift. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Stanley and family, of Peoa, were recent re-cent visitors at the Glen Stanley Stan-ley home. Mr. and Mrs. Marc Wilkins, of Los Angeles, Calif, have been visiting at the home of Mrs. Wilkins' father, Charles Bingham. Bing-ham. Mr. and Mrs. Linden Allred and family, of Orem, visited last week with Mrs. Wilma Bingham. The Elton Kettles made a trip to Salt Lake Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Mont S. Poul-son, Poul-son, of Duchesne, were guests Sunday at the Thomas Shisler home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles II Pearce, of Salt Lake, are visiting visit-ing with their son, Wenclol Johnson, and family. Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Anderson, of Springville, spent Sunday with their daughter, Mrs. Alden White.
