Show Governor Lee Slated To Speak at 0- o. i. s. Governor J. Bracken Lee, Dr. Louis L. Madsen, president of Utah State Agricultural college, and Arthur Gaeth will be principal prin-cipal speakers Aug. 10-11 during-U.B. during-U.B. I.C. festivities. Other speakers speak-ers are expected to be an authority au-thority on reclamation and water wa-ter problems, yet to be named, and an apostle of the LD3 church, probably Ezra T. Benson. Ben-son. To promote better breeding in the Uintah Basin area, the U.B. I.C. committee will give away four prize animals Aug. 11 during the U.B.I. C. tennis court dance one pure-bred registered reg-istered Hereford heifer, from the Weston Bates herd, Duchesne, Du-chesne, donated by the Pure-Bred Pure-Bred Breeders of the Uintah Basin; one pure-bred registered Holstein heifer, from the B.Y.U herd, donated by B.Y.U. and Uintah Basin dairymen, which is one of the first heifers to be released out of the university herd; one pure-bred registered Hampshire ewe, from the Levi Anderton flock, Duchesne, donated do-nated by Mr. Anderton and Basin Ba-sin sheepmen; and a pure-bred Duroc-Jersey gilt, from the James Chidester herd. Beginning Wednesday, July 19, the stock will be displayed each Wednesday and Saturday at the corner of Main and Lagoon La-goon streets. 1 i 1 E. Floyd Ross, U.B.I. C. publicity pub-licity chairman, said floats from every business in the Uintah Basin are encouraged to participate partici-pate in the parade Aug. 10. Entries En-tries should be filed with Rulon Anderton, of Roosevelt. Mr. itoss continued that the bishops of the various wards in the Stakes. are urged to certify a representative for the Aug. 11 amateur and talent show.'
