' uil ..i....Jn)jtaMi ri Dr. J.C. and Sister Eva Haws Couple called to serve in Nauvoo LDS mission Dr. J.C. and Eva Haws have been called to serve in the Nauvoo LDS mission mis-sion for an 18-month period. The Brigham City couple will report directly to the mission field on June 1. A farewell testimonial will be held in their honor Sunday, May 29 at 9 a.m. in the Brigham City 13th Ward, 25 North 300 East. Dr. and Mrs. Haws have been serving serv-ing as ordinance workers in the Ogden Temple for the past 2 years. Dr. Haws was schools superintendent superinten-dent in the district for 14 years, having hav-ing held this position in Uintah County Coun-ty district for five years prior to coming com-ing to Brigham City. Dr. Haws retired in October 1980 en ding 40 years in education after serv- ing as principal at Box Elder Junior High School for the final 3 years. The Haws are parents of 4 children. They have 19 grandchildren.
