Show ' 1 Vhitcrocks Virginia Ferguson Phone 353-4584 Work nights held in Whiterocks The Whiterocks Branch Relief Society Socie-ty had as its theme for their work-fun night, "I Have a Need to Create." Each member brough one item of her own particular craft, which was on display for the evening. There were exhibits on embroidery, crocheting, knitting, quilting, sculpture, painting, creative crafts. Mary Lynn Hoopes sang and played two songs she had composed. Debbie Hoopes has completed her studies in Orem for the school year, and is spending her vacation at home. John and Cherie Dickey with two of their children, Heidi and Christy, along with Shirley and Bernice Ainge, drove to Salt Lake City and Logan for a one day pleasure trip. Johnny and Sharon Arrowchis went to Big Cottonwood Canyon for a three day EMT Mountain Rescue Training, along with local EMTs from this area. Part of the training included instruction' in climbing cliffs without ropes. The training was made more difficult due to the fact that it was cold and snowing snow-ing at the time. Marcy Arrowchis played in a piano recital last week at the Moon Lake building, receiving two awards; one for attaining the most points for the year in sight reading. Her teacher is Pat Stringham. Marcy also was a participant par-ticipant through the Utah Chapter for local students achievement for piano, held at the Roosevelt West Stake Center. |
