Show St. Jude's Wheels for Life comes to Vernal Vernal area residents will have a chance on June 4 to become involved in helping to raise funds for research and treatment of childhood cancer and other childhood diseases by participating par-ticipating in the St. Jude's Wheels For Life Bike-A-Thon. Money raised will go to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Mem- , phis, Tennessee. The hospital was founded by comedian Danny Thomas and is dedicated to treatment of childhood diseases and research of childhood cancers, the largest such facililty in the world. The local Bike-A-Thon is sponsored by KVEL Radio with a great deal of support from local businesses and organizations. Participants will receive pledges from their sponsors and will then ride as many miles as they can around a one mile course to raise funds. The local event will be held at the Bicentennial Pavilion in Vernal on the afternoon of June 4. Refreshments and lunch will be provided pro-vided for all riders.
