Show VIRGIN Virgin, Sept. 1. Blanche and Genevieve, the blind daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lamb of Toquer-ville, Toquer-ville, -were here Tuesday evening rendering a splendid program to a full and appreciative house. Mrs. Evan Lee spent Sunday at La Verkin visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barney and other members mem-bers of their family, before their return re-turn to Gunlock. Mr. Connell has returned from Salt Lake City, where he had been on business in connection with the Gus- taveson Oil company. Mrs. Sarah Spendlove has been in St. George a few days' this week visiting relatives and friends and attending at-tending to business. Mrs. Glen Holohan and children returned Sunday from Salt Lake City where they spent the past two months. Mrs. Elizabeth Gibson of St. Thomas, Nevada, is visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Elisha Lee. Elijah Clawson, who is employed at the Gustaveson plant, left this morning for his home at Ogden. Work was started this week on the Jepson house, which Henry Cornelius is having repaired. Miss Paulina Matthews left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Salt Lake City where she has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Wilcox were business visitors at Hurricane Saturday. Sat-urday. J. H. Musser of the Gustaveson Co. arived here tonight from Salt Lake City. C. E. Clyne returned Saturday from a business trip to California. |
