Show ROCKVILLE Rockville, Sept. 1. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Beale, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ryckard, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Day and Miss Beale of Rooseevlt were visitors here this week end. Mr. and Mrs. Beale are old-time residents of Rockville and both are well known throughout Washington county. Mrs. Beale is a daughter of Mrs. Fidelia DeMill and the other members mem-bers of the party are Mr. Beale's daughters and their husbands. They visited many relatives and friends here after spending a few days in Zion park. While here, Mr. Beale received news of the death of' his brother, Edgar, who has been an invalid in-valid for a long time. Edgar Beale was equally well known and much respected. Leo LeBaron of Hurricane has just finished painting and decorating Joseph Hirschi's new house. Mr. Hirschi is to be congratulated on the improvements he is continually making mak-ing on his property. Word was received this evening of the death of Mrs. Viola Jones of Grafton after 24 hours illness. Sister Sis-ter Jones was 74 years of age and a much loved pioneer. Further details de-tails will follow. Mrs. Cox of Orderville left a few days ago after spending two weeks here visiting her sister, Mrs. Brigham Dalton. Mrs. Clara DeMill and children and Boyd Dennett returned home Saturday Satur-day after a week spent in St. George. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Allen, a son, Aug. 17; mother and uaue uomg mceiy. Loren D. Hirschi left Aug. 2 6 for Salt Lake City. He intends enrolling at the L. D. S. U. Marvin Terry returned home Saturday Sat-urday after an enjoyable trip to Salt Lake. Mrs. John Dennett is home again after visiting relatives in Salt Lake City. Roswell DeMill left today on a business trip to Hurricane. Miss Ina DeMill left this morning to visit at Cedar City. |
