Sullivan, Governor Scrugham of Nevada Ne-vada has been authorized to designate desig-nate thirteen able bodied male citizens, cit-izens, not less than seventeen nor more than forty-five years of age as a team to attend the Small Arms firing fir-ing school and participate in the national na-tional rifle matches at Camp Perry, Ohio, during the period from September Septem-ber 5 to October 2, inclusive. Washington A. E. Humphries and J. H. Ratliff and Mary E. Ratliff have applied to the federal power commission for a preliminary permit for a proposed power and irigation project to be located at the split mountain site in Green River, Uintah Uin-tah county, Utah. The applicants propose to build a 160-foot dam to develop 60,000 horsepower, for use in manufacturing fertalizer from adjacent ad-jacent phosphate beds and for supplying sup-plying light and power to the small nearby communities.
