Show MR. AXD MRS. GEO. T. COTTAM HAVE GOLDEN WEDDING DAY Mr. and Mrs. George T. Cottam celebrated their golden wedding day Tuesday with a big dinner in the Tabernacle basement which was attended at-tended by a large number o relatives of this highly respected and estimable estim-able couple. They have nine children child-ren living, all of whom were at the dinner as well as 43 grandchildren. There was a big time at the Cottam residence at night which was enjoyed to the full by everybody present. Mr. and Mrs. Cottam are counted among the foremost citizens of St. George. Brought up here among the pioneers of Dixie they have developed de-veloped strength of character and worth that places them easily in the most-to-be depended upon citizens, industrious, capable, God-fearing and upright. May they be, , blessed with health and strength to the end of their days is the sincere desire of their many frieds. Those who attended from a distance dist-ance were Dr. and Mrs. Frank Petty and family of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Petty and family of Hurricane, Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Mclntire and family of Price, Mrs. Albert Pace and family of Price, Mr. and Mrs. Antone B. Prince and family fam-ily of New Harmony, Mr. and Mrs. J. Milton Cottam of Los Angeles, Cal., and Bishop Frank Holt of Gunlock. |
