Show Dairymen invited to national convention in Salt Lake City Local dairymen and their wives are invited to hear some of the nation's top nutritionists, nutrition-ists, health educators, and economists ec-onomists at the National Dairy Council's 48th annual meeting in Hotel Utah, Jan. 27-30. These are the first meetings of this kind to be held west of Omeha. Milton Hult, National Dairy Council president will preside at the four-day convention, which will be themed to "Focus on the Future". George Winder Win-der is general chairman. General sessions are open to the public which opens Monday morning at 9:30 with a talk w on the "Economic Outlook for 1963" to be given by Jesse W. Tapp, chairman of the Board of Bank of America, Los Angeles. Former Secretary of Agriculture, Ezra Taft Benson will speak on "New Agriculture Agricul-ture Horizons" at the Monday luncheon. Tuesday sessions will spotlight the influence of the dairy industry in health education educa-tion and physical fitness. Wednesday, Wed-nesday, affiliated Council leaders lead-ers from all states of the Union will meet in a special institute on dairy council management. |
