Show Milton Bowler dies at home Milton A. Bowler, 81, died Tuesday July 29, 1980 at his residence in Gunlock, Utah. He was born December 14, 1898 at Hebron, Utah to John H. and Lasina Truman Bowler. He ,i married Blanche Hall June 27, 1922 in the St. : George LDS Temple, St. : George, Utah. I He was raised on the ; Bigelow Ranch and in : Gunlock, Utah. After their marriage a the couDle SDent their lives together ranching in Gunlock, Utah; Vegoand Fallon, Nevada; and Cedar City, Utah. An active High Priest in the LDS Church, he served as Superintendent of the Sunday School, a Counselor in the Bishopric and as a Branch President in Firnley, Nevada. He served a 2year stake mission i-h the Reno Stake. He is survived by his wife, Blanche , of Gunlock, 2 daughters and 2 sons: Helen Gardner, Gunlock, Ut.; Mrs. Scott (Alice) Shakespeare, Gunlock, Ut.; Elwood H. Bowler, St.George, Ut; Quenton T. Bowler, Summitt, Ut. One son Ian Bowler, deceased. There are 15 living Grandchildren, Grand-children, 20 Great-Grandchildren. Great-Grandchildren. A viewing for friends and family will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 at the Metcalf Mortuary in St. George. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Aug. 1, 1980 at 11:00 a.m. in the ' Gunlock Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Gunlock Cemetary under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary. |
