Show Douglas B. Lawson New ?lanager For Coca Cola Co. Announcement is made this week by the Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Vernal office, that effective effec-tive April 5, Douglas B. Law-son, Law-son, .native of Roosevelt, assumed as-sumed management of its vernal ver-nal plant, which operates n Uintah and Duchesne counties in Utah, and Moffat and Rio Blanco Blan-co counties in Colorado. Mr. Lawson received his B. S. degree in accounting and business bus-iness administration from Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University at the end of the winter quarter. A graduate of Roosevelt High School, he is a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Navy. He was employed em-ployed by the J. C. Penney Co. in Roosevelt for two years prior to entering service. Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mr. Lawson filled a mission to California Cal-ifornia from 1948 to 1950. After his release, he returned to the B Y U to complete his studies begun in 1946, and which werj , interrupted when he was called on a mission. His wife is the former Virginia Vir-ginia Burton, of Talmage, and prior to their marriage last fall she was employed by the Roosevelt State Bank and the Commercial Bank of Utah. She also had served as a missionary for the LDS Shurch. |
