Show Honored At Party - Tuesday the' Relief Society held their work meeting, also a social in honor of Mrs. Elsie Nielson, who recently moved to Myton. A delicious dinner was served to twenty-five members and four visitors. A friendship quilt was quilted for Mrs. Nielson. Niel-son. Mrs. Ralph Shields and Mrs. Orlene Labrum, of Roosevelt, and Mrs. Shirley Mecham, of Mt. Home, attended the social, Tuesday, in honor of Mrs. Elsii Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird received re-ceived word that Mrs. Bird's father. Mr. S. O. Solomonson, was confined to the Roosevelt hospital. He is better at this writing. Ramona Nielson, of ' Myton, spent Easter Sunday with old friends. Scout meeting was held Wednesday Wed-nesday night at the home of Charley Bird. Present . were Charley Bird, Clark Lusty, Howard Ho-ward Gilbert, Charley Jensen and Eldon Thompson. - Charley Jensen and Kent went, to Salt Lake City, where Mr. Jensen is having some dental den-tal work done. Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, chil-dren, of Neola, spent Easter al the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bird. Mrs. Helen Smith visited on Tuesday with her mother, Mrs. Olga Solomonson, at Myton. Dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Rose Gilbert Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Julius Zirker and girls, and Larry Ross. Merlyn Ross went to Provo to enter the state contest on retold re-told stories. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Moon. Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Moon, Miss Betty Higgen. all of Duchesne, attended ward conference here Sunday night. Thomas Larsen returned home from San Diego, where he took two weeks Navy training. |
