Show Viola Jensen Indian Women Go To LDS Conference Several faithful members of the Indian Mission Keuef Society, So-ciety, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, attended sessions ses-sions of the recent General Conference Con-ference held in Salt Lake City. The ladies who had been planning plan-ning the trip all winter prepared and sold hot dogs and hamburgers hambur-gers at shows in Randlett and Ouray to raise money with which to finance their trip. Transportation was provided by Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler, Chand-ler, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Oaks, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Peni-cooch. Peni-cooch. While in the city they enjoyed a day of sight seeing. Harold Dudley and sons, Larry Lar-ry and Ronald, visited last weekend week-end in Denver, Colo. Easter parties were enjoyed in the different Primary classes. Mrs. Hannah Harris entertained all of the Trail Builder boys. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Jensen and family, of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore and Mrs. Jewell Wall were Vernsl visitors Wednesday. Mrs. Wilford Robinson taught school Thursday in Mrs. Ellen Rawlings' place. Mrs. Robinson's husband is the manager of the Hi-Land Dairy in Roosevelt. Mrs. LaRue Larris was a substitute sub-stitute teacher Friday in Mrs. Rawlings' room. Mr. and Mrs. George Brough and family, Mr. and Mrs. La-Rue La-Rue Pickup and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen were Vernil visitors, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Brough recently moved here from Roy, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Young, of Orem, Utah, spent the weekend visiting at the home of Mr. Young's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Young. |
