Show The Daily Utah State Journal, with Frank J. Cannon as editor, bids fair to become a formidable rival to the Ogden Standard, The Journal is the smaller fellow, but there is that about him that impresses us with the idea that he has not got his growth and that when he does he will be a heavyweight. Cannon and Glassman used to be bosom friends, but judging by the way in which the Journal tries to "sic" the Governor and Attorney General onto the editor edi-tor of the Standard in its issue of the 10th inst , we conclude that they no longer feel that way, at least Cannon does not, and Glassman hadn't ought to, unless he is more of a christian and less of a mortal than we take him for. It will be rare sport to watch these old war riors chaw each other. It will be a royal battle, too. They both have sharp teeth and long claws. |
