Show (Jeneral Connor Heard Fi-om. j . Mr. B. E. Harvey this morning re-' I ceived a letter from General P. E. Connor, j now at New Orleans supervising the ex- j hibits from Utah for the exhibition. The General's letter runs about as follows : j "The weather is delightful, and the peo- j pie kind and hospitable, especially the j old - Confederates, who cannot do too much for an old Union soldier. I am agreeably surprised with them, and trust ! my favorable impression will . remain for j the future.
