The secretary of the Chicago branch of the International Union was seen in regard to the taking of cigar makers to San Fiancisco to compete with Coolies this morning. .He said about eighty . Chicago men had signified their wishes to go to San Francisco. Arrangements Ar-rangements had been made with the New York Central and Union Pacific roads to take the men there at the rate cf $39 each, no matter where they take the train. The members of the Union are guaranteed from $8 upward for mold work, and $12 upward for hand work. The rates which prevail here are $7 and $8. The necessary funds to be advanced by the Union to any member wishing to go and unable to pay his fare, the money so advanced to be repaid by installments of 15 per cent, of his earnings weekly. W.
