Show Woodrow Seamons t 1 mm Woodrow Leigh Seamons was born June 15, 1917 at Hyde Park, Utah. He was from a family of 12 brothers and sisters. He was the youngest boy with two sisters being younger. WOODROW grew up with a love of singing and dancing. His father would get all 1 2 children around the piano and sing gospel songs. r Sports were very important in his life. As a youth he loved baseball base-ball and football. As he grew older golfing was his favorite sport. WOODROW was in the armed forces from 1942-45. He also has been in two bishoprics. He has served in many capacities in the church. He served a stake mission and a mission to the Hawaii Visitor's Visi-tor's Center in Hawaii from 1985 to 1986. On May 14, 1983 Woodrow Married Mar-ried Mable Allen McCallister in the Salt Lake Temple. WOODROW died May 2, 1 986 at Lakeview Hospital with complications complica-tions with the heart. Survived by his wife; stepdaughter, stepdaugh-ter, Kay Arleen Paulson; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Friedli, Logan; Alii Thornley, Toppenish, Washington; J. Preston Seamons, WOODROW LEIGH SEAMONS Preston, Ida.; Eldon Monroe Seamons, Sea-mons, Mesa, Ariz.; Louise Stir-land, Stir-land, Mesa, Ariz.; Allen Alonzo Seamons, Escandido, Calif.; Elsie Brown, Hyde Park; Kathleen Suisse, Suis-se, Hyde Park. SERVICES were held Tuesday, May 6 at the Orchard 10th Ward in North Salt Lake. Interment in Hyde Park Cemetery under direction direc-tion of Russon Brothers Mortuary. |
