Show Fed. retirees to meet May 12 in Bountifiil The Bountiful Chapter of the National Na-tional Association of Retired Federal Fed-eral Employees will meet at the Golden Years Center May 13 at 12:30 p.m. MARCIA Lavalle, representing the University of Utah, will be on hand to explain the university's HR-60 program. This program provides pro-vides senior citizens with a menu of extending their education at a low cost. For a small fee, anyone, age 62 and older, can audit selected courses of study on a space available avail-able basis. Also of interest to N ARFE members mem-bers is the Utah State Federation Convention to be held at the Cedar City Rodeway Inn on May 14, 15 and 16. CONGRESSIONAL candidate, Gunn McKay is scheduled to speak on Thursday, May 15 and Congressman Con-gressman James Hansen is slated to address the convention on May 16. Other speakers will be Charles Carter, candidate for national president pres-ident of NARFE; Russel Ortoh, field vice president for Region VII; and Monroe Williamson, NARFE national treasurer. All NARFE members and eligible eligi-ble retirees are cordially invited to attend. |
