Show BLOOD DONORS GENEROUS TO RED CROSS Mrs. Charles Lay, chairman of the Red Cross blood drawing for Sugar House, reported a successful drawing held last week. The equipment equip-ment was set up at Petty Motor. Mrs. Lay said much credit goes to the work done by the Sugar House Rotary and Lions clubs. Westminster college set a record for the day in the number donating to the blood drawing from any one organization. Many teachers and students responded. On May 13 Mrs. Lay reported there will be a drawing held at the auditorium of the Nurses Home at Holy Cross hospital lor all the Catholic organizations, St. Mary's of the Wasatch; Judge Memorial, Cathedral school, Lady of Guadalupe Guada-lupe Mission, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Anns parish, St. Ambrose, Cathedral Ca-thedral of the Madeliene, Our Divine Di-vine Savour, Sacred .Heart, St. Vincent, Vin-cent, St. Teresa, St. Olaff, St. Patrick Pat-rick and Lady of Guadalupe. This is the first such drawing to be held. The drawings are scheduled for each community every three months. |
