Aldred Brown was the general contractor, and Star Plumbing, Wiscomb Painting, Carver Sheet Metal, Salt Lake Cabinet and Fixture, Fix-ture, Restaurant Store & Equipment, Equip-ment, Al. H. Watkins, T. C. Stay-nor, Stay-nor, Spiker Tile, Mt. Olympus Nursery, Ashton Heating, U. S. Rock Wool, Lee Tuft, Ted Miller Salt Lake Mill & Lumber, J. b & R. E. Walker, Ogden Iron Works, Lott & Parry and William Frederick Fred-erick Thomas were the contracting firms that did virtually all the bunding, finishing and landscaping of the Golden Flame. GOLDEN FLAME HEARING OPENING DATE Strikingly beautiful in architectural architect-ural design and ultra - modern throughout, the Golden Flame restaurant on 21st South just west of 13th East, is nearing completion and readying its formal opening. Built at a cost in excess of $70,000, the new eating establishment establish-ment will cater to folk with discriminating dis-criminating appetites, it was reported re-ported by Keith McCarthy, one of the operators. The Golden Flame was host to Sugar House chamber of commerce members at a breakfast sponsored by the Utah-Idaho Sugar company at the kick-off of Sugar Days last week. Many of Salt Lake's best contractors con-tractors participated in the building build-ing of the restaurant, each taking great pride in his particular part |
