KOREA CANDY WINNERS Continued from Page 1 for Korea contest held this week. Paul Pehrson, originator of the idea, was chairman of the committee commit-tee which saw more than 300 housewives enter their sweets, in the worthy cause. More than 40 of these entries received re-ceived awards of merit after a group of judges passed on the outstanding out-standing entries. Judges found it extremely difficult dif-ficult to select the winners, even after they were allowed minute testing samples of some of the candy. Judges were Josephine Nickols, C. Laird Snelgrove and "Winifred Jardine. The contest was held in conjunction con-junction with Sugar Days, most successful of the fabulously successful suc-cessful promotions sponsored by the chamber for the benefit not only of the participating stores, but for the bargain hunters who visit Sugar House as well.
