Show FRAfiK POULSOU TO BE FETED ON RETIREMENT Frank G. Poulson, principle of the Emerson school since 1942, will be honored at a reception and open house May 15, between the hours of 7:30 and 9 p. m. The program will include L. D. Schroeder, assistant superintendent of Salt Lake city schools, as guest speaker; Elbert Johnson, local musician, as soloist. , Mrs. Beth Cedarstrom, P-TA executive ex-ecutive board, is chairman of arrangements. ar-rangements. Poulson, who retires from the teaching profession on June 1, joined the city school system in 1917 after leaving Jordon and Granite Gran-ite districts, and was principle of Highland Park in 1921, and served as head of Whittier elementary school from 1934 until he joined the Emerson in 1942. Refreshments will be served and the committee especially invites all present and former associates of Poulson. |
