Hoi. 710 The Holladay Lion's club and the management of the Hoiladay theater have completed arrange- ments for a special two-hour free Christmas motion picture show on Dec. 17 for all the children chil-dren of the Holladay area. Manager Man-ager Jack Haigh of the Holladay Holla-day theater has arranged a splendid program of eowooy and comic pictures just for children. chil-dren. Jack and George Mar-chant, Mar-chant, chairman of the Holladay Holla-day Lions boys and girls committee, com-mittee, invite all the boys and girls up to and including 14 years of age to attend this first annual Holladay Lions-Holladay theater Christmas show. In order to accommodate all the boys and girls, the children attending the Winder,, Valley View, East Mill Creek and Evergreen Ever-green wards, and the Sherman and William Penn schools must attend the performance that starts at 10 a.m. sharp. Children attending the Holladay, Mt. O 1 y m p u s, and Cottonwood wards, Olympus Jr., high, Holladay Hol-laday and Oakwood schools, must attend the performance at 12:30 p.m. sharp. The Olympus junior high school presented a Christmas cantata. "Child Jesus," on Wednesday Wed-nesday Dec. 19, at the Olympus jur., high auditorium. Dec. 23. in the Mt. Olympus chapel, the combined choirs of the Holladay and Mt. Olympus wards under, the direction of Charles R. Pike of Olympus ward and Henry C. Krantz of Holladay ward will present Handel's "Messiah". Among the guest artists appearing will be Beulah Sadler, soprano, and Lota Lo-ta Larnoreau, contralto. The primary children of the Mt." Olympus ward will entertain enter-tain their parents at a Christmas Christ-mas party at the Mt. Olympus chapel on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. |
