Show Rotary Members Draw Presents at Meeting Santa Claus in a dual impersonation imper-sonation by Glen Tripp and Holger Larsen visited the Sugar House Rotary club Thursday ai Weasku Inn where presents were exchanged. President Sam Leaver presided at the iesuvi-ties iesuvi-ties at the close of which a fund was raised for the needy tor ' Christmas. Club members and their ladies enoyed the annual Rotary Christmas party at the Hotel Utah the night of Dec. 13. Dancing Danc-ing followed the dinner, and the ladies received corsages and j glass swan favors. Carl Brown I was chairman of the committee I arranging the affair. Rotary Anns spent the week, making and collecting cookies which will be delivered to hospitalized hos-pitalized veterans as part oi their Christmas celebration. Over 50 dozen cookies were gathered for the project which was ' in charge of Dorothy Cannon, Ethel Lobb and Evelyn Jenkins. The Rotary Anns holiday party, set for Friday, Dec. 28, at 1 p. m. at Covey's banquet room, promises fun and surprises sur-prises for all, according to Rhoda Hobbs, chairman, who will be assisted by the following co-hostesses: Mildred Shurtliff, Jasmine Hibbard, LaVon Lambert Lam-bert and Marian Pyper. |
