Show Legion Kiddies Party Set Tonight Children of members of Sugar House Post No. 5. American Legion, are looking forward to the time of their young lives at the annual Post kids party, scheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Continental Baking Co., auditorium, 734 E. 4th So. There'll be a large evening of games and entertainment and that old fellow with the whiskers whisk-ers is scheduled to show up some time during the evening, according to Ernie Hamilton, Post commander. Yessir, Santa Claus will be there, with a present for every one of the youngsters. Henry Moore, second vice commander, is chairman of the committee arranging the party, with Ernie Millgate, Scott Sorensen and Stiles C. Mills assisting. Post members spent Tueday nlgnt up at tne state prison wrapping Christmas boxes for hospitalized war veterans the post's annual project to provide a real merry Christmas for the Yanks who gave and who are now under treatment far from their homes. For the past two weeks the post has been collecting col-lecting boxes and items for the boxes and contributions from individuals in-dividuals and firms, and it appeared ap-peared at press time they would go over the top of. their announced an-nounced quota oi 200 Christmas packages for the veterans- The boxes each contain about the same value in varied assortment assort-ment of personal gifts things t most appreciated by the fellows. |
