In the near future the tax commission expefls to set a deadline, after which no more tokens will be redeemed. Necessity compels the use of coin - counting machines to count the tokens. To count a few million "by hand" would cost the stale more, possibly, than the holders of the tokens would receive at the face value of the tokens. But the coin-counting coin-counting machine is not owned by the state; it is rented. The longer holders of tokens delay in turning them in, the more it costs the state. |
