Show Salutation After knocking around these Sugar House parts for about a week, I've decided I couldn't have found a nicer place The salesmen and salesladies in the shops, the busi nessmen, the postmen, the shoppers and the officers of civic clubs have all joined in making this a nice place. The staff at The Bulletin: Rich James, LaMar Busath, Frank Nelson, Bruce Smart, "Doc" Cook, Arda Mott and Jim Cannon have generously catered to my needs in getting introduced to the adventure of editing this newspaper. One just can't lose with such wholehearted cooperation. The new editor is aware of the years of devoted service this staff has given to Sugar House and its community newspaper and I only hope that in my small way I can continue con-tinue to serve with-the some devotion and editorial distinction distinc-tion that has characterized the paper here-to-fore. This fine staff will continue to print the paper, thus insuring the same high quality production. Associated with me in the "front office" will be Lowell Stout, a long-time friend and fellow graduate at U of U, who will take over where my aversion to accounting begins. ( It will be the policy of this paper to give a thorough -. news coverage, unbiased and aocurate, including all the j neighborly news as pertains to this spot in Salt Lake Valley which we love so much. Opinions will be limited to the ' editorial section. We invite your cooperation in making this newspaper the voice as well as the mirror which reflects re-flects all the happenings in Sugar House. It will be our goal to grow with Sugar House. |
